After a great launch (once they solved the load problem) and a smart, 1-click upgrade process, the Plus side of iTMS doesn’t seem to have much juice behind it.
Once you make the move to DRM-free, higher sample rate files, it just doesn’t make sense to go back. Especially when Amazon has launched its excellent competitive offering.
Do the deals, increase the selection, give me another opportunity to upgrade with a click.
Seems like this won’t be far off…

Totally agree about a “subscription” plan option. I’d love to see this as an option in addition to a la carte rentals.
The prices to purchase movies from iTunes are so uncompetitive with DVD purchase prices as to be ridiculous!
I’d love to see something like a monthly subscription for “renting” movies. I don’t know whether Apple wants to compete with the likes of Netflix in this area, but on the other hand, Netflix doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to support Macs, so it seems like a niche just begging to be filled.
Recently I bought a single track from an EP, then later wanted to send it to a friend as a gift. I was completely flummoxed because the “Gift This Album” link did not appear on the page. For a while I believed that it had been disabled intentionally because the record label didn’t want it given as a gift! But I knew that made no sense.
Eventually I figured out that it was because there was an offer on the page for me to “complete” the album by purchasing the other tracks, and that there was a link available for me to view the full album. But why change the page and eliminate the highly-visible gift button? This is an unnecessary inconsistency.
